More than 250 eco-chic guests convened under the stars at The Lark for the COMMUNITY ENVIRONMENTAL COUNCIL ’s annual Green Gala. Executive chef Jason Paluska sourced local and organic ingredients for a special menu of Santa Maria red bor kale salad, Sonoma free-range chicken with Southern grits, bacon-braised rainbow Swiss chard, and mission figs, among other delicacies. California Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom honored the CEC for its work, and a live auction raised more than $150,000 to help safeguard the future against climate change.
