Our son, who is paralyzed now from a 4 wheeler accident at 21 was ready to move away from home and our Ohio winters back in 2008 at age 27. He always loved FL and started looking online at homes in the Bonita Springs area. He had been emailing and working with Brenda for a couple months with homes she kept sending him to view with his needs in mind. With the drop in housing prices, we put a bid on one and came down over Christmas to see it with her. It was not the right one we decided and with her help and advice knowing our budget, she showed us numerous homes in lovely Cape Coral to select from accommodating our limited vacation time over the holidays. We put a bid on one and with her diligence and strong support working with the bank back and forth with our proposals, we finally became home owners and moved our son and his belongings to FL in May 2009. We feel so good about his location, his safety and everything is so handy for him to drive to. His neighborhood is great and he’s been so happy. He loves his freedom and is so proud of his own home and doing his own mowing and landscaping, keeping care of the pool and his dog. In our search for a home to purchase in the Fort Myers area, we called the phone number on the FOR SALE sign of a home that looked interesting to us, & were instantly in touch with Brenda Burke. Although the house we called about was out of our price range, Brenda offered suggestions of areas where we might find homes better suited to our budget and needs. We had a home to sell in another county, & so the process of finding the right house was made easier with the listings that Brenda would send daily of houses that fit our criteria. Brenda stuck with us through thick & thin, & we ultimately found the perfect house at the perfect price. We called Brenda late on a Friday afternoon, & met with Brenda in the early evening to view the home. Brenda’s up-to-date knowledge of the real estate market & information from contract to closing was right on the money. Brenda went out of her to make sure the necessary legwork was done in a timely fashion and was always available via phone, email or in person. Brenda also attended the appraisal and various inspections that were performed at the home, & was very accommodating in every way.
