1. Autoridad de aplicación La Autoridad de Aplicación de este Reglamento es la Subsecretaria de Pesca y Actividades Portuarias y su cumplimiento es fiscalizado por la Dirección de Pesca Continental y el Cuerpo de Guardapescas y las Instituciones que han firmado convenio con ésta. Las infracciones al presente Reglamento serán sancionadas de acuerdo con lo establecido en la Ley Provincial 1464 y su Decreto Reglamentario Nº 195/83.
1. Acting authority The Acting Authority for these Regulations is the Fishing Agency. Its compliance is controlled by the Continental Fishing Agency and the Game Warden Body and the institutions that have signed the agreement with it. Violations of the current Regulations will be penalized according to Provincial Law 1464 and the of implementation Decree Nº 195/83.
2. Temporada de pesca En la Provincia de Santa Cruz, la fecha de apertura es el 01/11/09 en lagos, lagunas, ríos y arroyos. La fecha de cierre es el 01/05/10. Las excepciones se encuentran en el Listado Alfabético - Parte Tercera.
2. Fishing season Opening date for fishing in lakes, small lakes (lagoons or ponds), rivers and streams in the Province of Santa Cruz is 11/01/09. Closing date is 05/01/10. Exceptions are listed in the Alphabetical Listing - Third Part.
3. Modalidades de pesca, equipos y señuelos Las modalidades de pesca, equipos y señuelos son los mismos que en el Reglamento General, exceptuando la modalidad de trolling y la pesca con triple anzuelo que se encuentran prohibidas en toda la Provincia. Las restantes excepciones se encuentran en el Listado Alfabético - Parte Tercera. 4. Otras recomendaciones importantes 1. Pesca deportiva: Entiéndase como pesca deportiva el arte lícito y recreativo de apropiar y aprehender especímenes de la fauna íctica con medios debidamente autorizados sin fines de lucro y en los lugares habilitados al efecto (ARTICULO 1º Decreto 195/83) 2. La Licencia de pesca deportiva será personal e intransferible y deberá ser portada en forma visible en el ejercicio de la actividad y caducará automáticamente, al vencer el periodo por el cual fue extendida o al declararse la veda por parte de la Autoridad de Aplicación (ARTICULO 6º Decreto 195/83). Hasta el 31/10/09 inclusive, los pescadores deportivos podrán realizar su actividad con el permiso de la temporada 2008-2009. 3. Con el fin de prevenir depredaciones y crear una conciencia y educación turística, los pescadores deportivos evitarán (ARTICULO 25º Decreto 195/83): Llevar perros y portar armas de fuego en las excursiones de pesca. 3. Fishing methods, gear and lures Fishing methods, gear and lures follow the same rules as in the General Regulations, with exceptions of trolling and the use of triple hook that are forbidden in the Province of Santa Cruz. Exceptions can be found in the Alphabetical Listing- Third Part. 4. Other important recommendations 1. Sportfishing: This is the name given to the non-profit, legal recreational activity of capturing fish with duly authorized gear and within authorized areas according to (ARTICLE 1 Decree 195/83). 2. TThe sport fishing license will be personal, non-transferable, and must be displayed when fishing. The license will be valid for only the period indicated, with the exception of when the Acting authority declares a non-fishing period, in which case the permit becomes no longer valid (ARTICLE 6TH Decree 195/83). The license of 2008-2009 will be valid until 10/31/09, inclusively. 3. In order to prevent depredation, educate tourists and create awareness, sport fishermen will avoid: (ARTICLE 25TH Decree 195/83); Taking dogs or firearms along on fishing trips.
