Some claim it first started being said in the mid-90s. Yo/Ayo One of the most classic slang words, which is a greeting or an attention getter. Some claim it was first used by Italian immigrants that moved to Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey. You Good?/You good. A phrase with many meanings. Mainly used to ask about a person’s well being. It’s also used as a way to say that the present matter is fine. The same can work with the phrase,“I’m good.”
