In an Upper East Side townhome nicknamed “Happy House,” designer Jean-Louis Deniot collaborated with wallpaper and fabric studio Porter Teleo, customdeveloping a pattern to wrap around the closet and be seen between existing moldings. “Working in this loose, gestural way with such beautiful blues and sunny yellows was a dream,” says Kelly Porter, artist and cofounder of Porter Teleo. “We wanted it to feel like you are completely immersed in a large-scale painting.”
