SUPERVISOR

RON ROBERTS

Jobs are Priority #1

County roads been preserved – all maintained and basic services have t to other local agencies without raising taxes. Ron has created hundreds of construction jobs at the new County Operations Center and Medical Examiner buildings, charged zero fees for homeowner solar installations, supported growth of the local Clean Tech industry, and helped implement a record teen summer job program. He’s also been recognized for his leadership in expanding world trade opportunities for local businesses to generate more local jobs.

Law Enforcement’s Choice

Ron led efforts to create a true regional communications system allowing emergency responders to communicate with one another during disasters. He’s spearheaded efforts to improve regional fire protection, was instrumental in the purchase of our first firefighting helicopter, and helped secure use of an S-64E Helitanker, the largest of its kind for attacking blazes of all types. His efforts to slash the violent crime rate, construct a new jail, and protect seniors from scams earned him the endorsement of the San Diego Police Officers Association, Deputy Sheriffs’ Association and the District Attorney.

Youth and Families

 WARNING: Special Interest carpetbaggers threaten County’s financial stability Far-left politicians have their sights set on County government. Ron Roberts’ primary opponents, Shelia Jackson and Stephen Whitburn, moved into our district specifically to run for public office – Whitburn from Wisconsin, and Jackson from Scripps Ranch. We deserve a representative who will maintain our County’s financial stability, and whose interest in our community goes beyond pursuing political office.

Ron led efforts to provide healthy, safe alternatives for young people, helping develop the Clairemont Skatepark, Boys and Girls Clubs, youth baseball fields, San Pasqual Academy and a new teen center in Linda Vista. He’s been a major supporter of STAR/PAL which brings at-risk youth and law enforcement officers together, and the Pro Kids Golf Academy and Learning Center. He helped draft the San Diego County Childhood Obesity Action Plan and is a longtime supporter of Father Joe’s Toussaint Academy of the Arts & Sciences.
