Dear CICI Member:

I am pleased to announce the Chemical Industry Council of Illinois’ (CICI) 27th Annual Membership Products and Services Directory for your use. CICI’s membership has grown to represent many firms and associations with a history of providing high quality services and products for the state’s chemical industry.

The members of CICI are arguably the “very best” in their respective fields. If you’re looking for a warehouse, remediation group, pipeline company, electrical contractor, mechanical contractor, waste handler, transporter, storage terminal, legal services, engineering firm, energy provider, environmental consultant, national trade association, chemicals, or a host of other services, these are the people and firms CICI encourages you to contact and utilize.

The directory is divided into ten sections:

• CICI Member Company Profiles

• Chemical Products and Services

• Electrical & Industrial Support Services

• Engineering and Construction Services

• Environmental and Health Services

• Equipment, Supplies, and Emergency Response Services

• Legal, Management, and Communication Services

• National Association

• Safety and Security Services

• Terminal, Transportation, Logistics, and Laboratory Services

Changes to the CICI Membership Directory will be posted on the CICI website at www.cicil.net

Please note that the companies contained in the Directory provide support for a fee. By providing this Directory, CICI is not specifically endorsing these companies. Also, every effort has been made to ensure that the information in the Directory is correct. If you should discover any errors, please contact Lisa Leahy, at LLeahy@cicil.net. Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Laboratories EA’s in-house laboratories provide comprehensive environmental and ecological testing. The Ecotoxicological Laboratory’s specific monitoring and bioassay capabilities are extensive. We offer a full complement of aquatic and terrestrial toxicity tests that can be performed in either our toxicology laboratory located in our facility or onsite. The toxicity tests include freshwater, marine, and estuarine studies with fish, invertebrates, and plants. EA’s treatability laboratory, EnviTreat, provides custom treatability testing and data evaluation to assess and optimize the function and performance of waste treatment systems. The cornerstone for the laboratory’s practice is the use of respirometry to and bench scale testing for aerobic an anaerobic biodegradation testing.

Product Testing EA assists clients with the development of toxicological information for product formulations through the performance of standardized toxicity testing. These tests enable clients to evaluate the toxic ity of various product formulations and also generate the required data for Safety Data Sheet development and hazard classification (i.e., Globally Harmonized System [GHS] of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals).

Compliance counseling. Our team provides focused assistance in attaining and maintaining compliance with Federal and State statutory, regulatory, and permit requirements related to air, water, waste, and cleanup programs.

Permitting. Thoughtful and thorough planning and negotiation with regulatory and permitting staff are paramount to seeing a project succeed. We assist clients in applying for, modifying, renewing, and/or challenging construction and operating permits.

Regulatory development and interpretation. Having a seat at the table when regulations are being developed can minimize surprises and enhance our ability to advocate for our clients' interests during the rulemaking process.

Transactional. We assist in each phase of a real estate transaction, from phase 1 investigations through closing, including evaluating remedial options and negotiating liability concerns.

Pre-enforcement negotiation. We assist clients in navigating their available options leading up to and throughout the pre-enforcement process, including development of technically sound plans and negotiating cost effective and manageable Compliance Commitment Agreements.

Enforcement and litigation. When a favorable agreement can't be reached outside of litigation, our team is ready to aggressively represent clients' interests. We represent our clients in actions brought by Illinois EPA, Missouri DNR, USEPA, OSHA, and other administrative agencies, as well as in litigation filed by private parties.

Legislative affairs and lobbying. Some problems can only be addressed by appealing to Illinois' General Assembly. We help clients craft innovative solutions and advocate on their behalf before the legislature.

Newson Gale, IEP Technologies LLC 417-1 South Street, Marlborough, MA, 01752

Total Staff: US Operations: 10 UK Operations: 45

For over 30 years, Newson Gale has been leading the way in hazardous area static grounding control, serving industries where processes generating static electricity have the potential to ignite flammable or combustible atmospheres.

Newson Gale Develops and manufactures a range of hardware solutions dedicated to ensuring static electricity is not an ignition source in potentially flammable and combustible atmospheres. Ranging from the unloading of road tanker trucks to the emptying of hand held cans Newson Gale has a solution for virtually every process of generating static electricity

National codes of practice such as NFPA77 provide guidelines for the effective control of static electricity, involving grounding and bonding all conductive and static dissipative plant and equipment in explosive atmospheres to prevent charge accumulation.

• NFPA 77 “Recommended Practice on Static Electricity” (2014).

• IEC 60079-32 “Electrostatic Hazards – Guidance” (2013).

• API 2003 “Protection Against Ignitions Arising out of Static, Lightning, and Stray Currents” (2015).

To help control these risks, Newson Gale offers a wide range of static grounding and bonding equipment which is made to provide optimum safety in explosive atmospheres and other hazardous operating environments. The Newson Gale® range prevents static charge accumulation by using practical and innovative design, and ensures effective static control on three levels: -

• Earth-Rite series of static ground indicators and interlock systems;

• Bond-Rite series of self -testing static grounding clamp units; and

• Cen-Stat series of static grounding and bonding clamps, cables, reels and test instrument
