The Anderson Residence Residential Design | Hand Rendering
The Anderson family has lived in their home for the past 20 years. Now that their oldest son has moved out and Mrs. Anderson’s mother has moved in, it is time for a change to the house. The family has requested large public spaces for entertaining and their hobbies. Private spaces will be adapted to accommodate each resident’s individual needs. They want the home to reflect the cape cod style and be ADA accessible.

The Gabler Residence Residential Design | Sketchup & Podium
Ed and Donna Gabler purchased a new home in West Salem, Ohio and were looking to update the 12-year-old kitchen. The Gablers have a large family that visits often and will need plenty of space for entertaining. The Gablers care about the environment and request that sustainable materials and energysaving fixtures be used in the kitchen. The style of the home is a log cabin with a country interior and the Gablers would like to keep the integrity of the home while incorporating their transitional style.

In addition to their kitchen, Ed and Donna Gabler have requested that their master bathroom be remodeled within a budget of $10,000. The main wishes of the Gablers were a new, custom shower and a double vanity with plenty of counter space and storage. Ed and Donna are envi-ronmentally conscious and wanted to use sustainable materials in their bathroom. Because their house is a log cabin, the design is in keeping with a nature theme embracing greens, browns, and yellows.

Jamberry Nails Headquarters Commercial Design | Sketchup & Podium
Jamberry has been expanding ever since its start in 2010 and is looking to open a new headquarters in the Midwest where consultants can gather and become inspired. They want an open office that encourages collaboration. The space should be as fun as the product they sell while also being functional. It should be beautiful, creative, encouraging, and most importantly, unique. The design of the office will take inspiration from the company itself and use their colors and designs to fill the offices. Because this company is all about art and graphics, the Art Resource Room should be an area that is accessible to all, not just the art team. The use of glass partitions will allow offices to be in the center of and allow ample natural light into all areas of the building. Anyone who walks into Jamberry headquarters will gain a sense of the company and its values as soon as they step off of the elevator.

ASA Residence Institutional Design | Revit
Asa Residence is an assisted living facility that strives to make its residents feel at home through its design. It serves as a residence, marketplace, social space and much more. For this group project, students were asked to work in teams to create different spaces in the facility. The Bistro will serve as a gathering area with a large coffee bar in the middle and a game area with a small stage tucked in the back. Residents can gather to talk, drink, play games, or share their talents on stage. The design of the bistro will incorporate soft colors and materials to make the residents feel comfortable.

Helpful Paws Animal Shelter Senior Project | Revit
Agility Training Room
Helpful Paws is a no-kill animal shelter that strives to make sure all of their dogs are placed with good owners who know how to care for them. The facility is designed to educate the public on grooming, training, and all other aspects of pet ownership. The building will have 3 different training spaces for the owners and the animals, a large play yard, and a “living room� where the animals will meet potential owners for the first time.

Duo Wine Bar Hospitality Design | Revit
Duo is a wine bar focusing in pairing wine with small plates. It is a sit-down style restaurant with a casual outdoor seating area. The aesthetic of Duo will be rustic industrial, bringing in wood tones and metals. Plenty of industrial style lighting will brighten the restaurant during the day, yet be dim enough for romantic evenings. Duo will be visible by the public through two picture windows with industrial framing.
