2010s Olivia A. Doller, AuD ’18, has accepted a new position at the University of Maryland Community Medical Group. Katherine S. Bej, OD ’17, received the “25 Under 35” award from her high school, Saint Joseph Academy, in recognition of her vision therapy work with children with vision problems which can impact their learning. Christin N. DeMoss, OD ’17, was honored with the William Feinbloom Low Vision Award when she was a Salus University resident at The Eye Institute. Dr. Moss worked with an interdisciplinary team to create treatment plans to help patients regain lost skills and meet their visual goals.

Jessica A. (Johnson) Wieser, OD ’17, married Edward Alexander Wieser on May 26, 2018 in Earleville, Md., at Mount Harmon Plantation. The couple was surrounded by family, friends, and many fellow graduates of Salus University were in attendance.

Erin K. Evans, OD ’16, announced her engagement to Nicholas Attanasio. The couple exchanged vows this September. Lili T. Liang, OD ’16, MPH ’16, and an optometrist friend opened a one- exam room practice inside Durant Sessions, a hip optical shop in the Gastown district of Vancouver. She works one day a week but the pair will soon open another

Fuster, AuD ’17. Rachel L. Carver, OD ’13, will take over the optometry practice of David L. Schmolly, OD ’70. Dr. Carver has been working with Dr. Schmolly for the past few years as his mentee to prepare her for a smooth transition. In the last year and a half, she has seen 80 percent of the patients at the practice. She is excited about the new chapter of owning her own private practice and has vowed to provide the best quality of care for her patients. She has already expanded the practice by including vision therapy and plans to also add brain injury vision rehabilitation and sports vision field services in the near future. Lindsey A. Sabol, OD ’13, and Jeremiah Gonzalo announced their engagement and were married on August 25, 2018. Evone K. Wong, OD ’13, is one of the newest members of the Kaiser Permanente Team on Maui and Oahu, Hawaii.
