When viewed from the top, the Gopura resembles a Mandala with sculptures and carvings of Yakshas, Yalis, and mythical animals located in the outer enclosure

These Gopurams are exquisitely decorated with sculptures and carvings and painted with several themes procured from Hindu mythology, particularly those associated with the woven history in and around the temple complex.
