APPRENTICE & EMPLOYER ADVISOR

Abbie has worked within the Apprenticeship Recruitment Team for over four years, providing outstanding service to apprentice applicants and employers looking to recruit new apprentices.

Abbie has a wealth of knowledge that she has built up throughout her career. Having originally begun working as a Business Administration apprentice working within the private sector, Abbie later moved into recruitment resourcing as a Job Coach before joining Salford City College Group in 2018 as an Apprentice and Employer Advisor.

On a day-to-day basis, Abbie’s role involves supporting a range of people into work as apprentices. She provides information, advice and guidance people on getting into apprenticeships, finding the right career and matching to suitable job opportunities. Abbie will always go the extra mile to help people, support with CVs, applications and direct people to the right services and advice. Additionally,

Abbie is amazing at working with employers; providing advice on taking on apprentices, funding and supporting the recruitment process to find the best candidates for the job.

Abbie is always developing her skills and knowledge, recently she achieved a Distinction in her Recruitment Resourcer apprenticeship! She is also working with our cross-college teams on our Promoting Excellence CPD programme, focussing on quality improvement and the practical application of skills. Abbie is passionate about promoting our offer and is keen to develop our social media presence. She makes a difference to applicants and employers every day.
