New Student Dates

Placement Test Dates To ensure students are set up for success, Salesian requires placement tests for students seeking classes above their grade level. Students who test in the top 25% on the High School Placement Test are automatically placed in World History Honors and English Honors. Please review your student’s acceptance paperwork as they have received notification of honors eligibility in their packet.

World Language Readiness Exam (Spanish and French) Date & Time TBD Who should consider taking this exam? Incoming students for the fall of 2020 who have studied Spanish or French or who have competency in either language or wish to be placed in an advanced world language class. No fee or Pre-Registration required.

Accelerated Algebra Readiness Exam Date & Time TBD Who should consider taking this exam? Incoming students for the fall of 2020 who have completed a full year of Algebra and wish to be placed in Accelerated Algebra II. No fee or Pre-Registration required.

Orientation/First Day of School Monday, August 17, 2020: The first day of school for freshmen and transfer students (8:00am2:00pm). Students MUST be in school uniform as school photos will be taken and ID cards will be issued. The day will begin in the gymnasium. A complimentary lunch will be served in the café. Salesian students will attend a Technology orientation session in order to best prepare for their first full day of classes on Tuesday.
