Global Citizenship

Salesian students experience learning that extends beyond the classroom. Throughout their high school experience, students engage with different cultures, absorb new perspectives, and gain skills that prepare them to make a positive impact as global citizens. By being part of a diverse student body, students learn to respect cultures, languages, religions, and traditions other than their own.

International Trips International Trips are offered to students every year. Past trips have included visits to France, Italy, Spain, Japan, Iceland, the Galapagos Islands, Belize, and New Zealand, to name a few.

New Orleans Trip Our Habitat for Humanity club students take an annual trip to New Orleans to build homes for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

International Host Family Opportunities SCP is an International school and we have hosted students from ten different countries. There are opportunities for families who are interested in hosting an international student. To learn more about hosting a student and to find out about the monthly stipend, please email Christina Karabinis at ckarabinis@salesian.com.

Exchange Program — Quebec Students who are enrolled in French language classes have an opportunity to enjoy a week long trip to Quebec, meeting students at another Salesian School in Canada.

Exchange Program — Parma, Italy Our students have the opportunity to broaden their education in Italy at the San Benedetto Salesian Institute in Parma, Italy. Multiple programs are offered from two weeks to a 6-month study abroad academic program, with a focus on STEM, Sport Science and Business.
