For nearly 150 years, Saint Peter’s University has been an anchor for Jersey City and the surrounding region.

Our Mission Saint Peter’s University, inspired by its Jesuit, Catholic identity, commitment to individual attention and grounding in the liberal arts, educates a diverse community of learners in undergraduate, graduate and professional programs to excel intellectually, lead ethically, serve compassionately and promote justice in our ever-changing urban and global environment.

STEM STRONG

INNOVATIVE DEGREES The master’s degree in cyber security is developing computer science professionals who can build and defend secure systems. The University’s state-of-theart Cyber Security Center was designed in collaboration with the National Cyber Security Center of Excellence. The master’s degree in data science fills an urgent need in our networked world. Saint Peter’s is educating the next generation of data scientists and working closely with industry leaders to bring innovative ideas to market.

Founded in 1994, the Guarini Institute for Government and Leadership has provided a nonpartisan forum to discuss New Jersey’s most pressing issues.

Ignite Institute provides thought leadership, academic research and direct educational service to local entrepreneurs in collaboration with Rising Tide Capital. Since the inception of the Institute’s Town & Gown program, 200+ seniors in the School of Business completed 35 marketing consultancies for Hudson County Chamber of Commerce businesses.
