love for the outdoors began early for Ann M. Catino, Esq. ’82. Growing up in Broad Brook, Conn., she spent her childhood primarily outside, exploring. “My parents were always telling us to go outside and play, so I was always outside, I was always on my bicycle— I loved to hike, and ski, I just loved being outside,” she says. As for her love of the law, that began early as well. “I don’t quite remember it this way, but my mom will you tell you I came home from school one day when I was in eighth grade and announced I was going to be a lawyer.” Whether the decision was made then or not, Catino clearly felt called to the law. And by blending her love of the outdoors with her passion for the law, she has made a substantial impact in her role as an environmental lawyer.
