BENEFIT FUNDRAISER for Kash Kelso on Sunday, October 30th with a noon meal and silent auction at St. Ambrose Parish Hall. Proceeds will help defray medical expenses. Anyone wishing to donate an item to the silent auction call Tammy Matschek at 651-3390.

pray for favorable weather and a huge crowd to come and enjoy the food and fun. We sure hope you were able to come enjoy the Diocesan 50th Celebration Mass last Sunday. It was a sight to see. If you ordered a Youth Group T-Shirt and have not picked it up yet, please look for Phyllis and/or myself this weekend. We should have the shirts with us. Thanks to Brandi Braden and others for hosting last week's Huddle Up after the game. We will have our Diocesan's 1st monthly "XLT" meeting on Tuesday 10-25 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Cathedral. This is a new Youth Program that we are trying to get going in the San Angelo Diocese. We have a vision of each parish in our San Angelo Area (including Wall) to host an XLT Meeting. We'd love to see as many students as possible come check it out to see the format and spend a little time in praise and worship music and exalting our Lord. Please see the attached flyer for more information. Our House painting project is coming soon. We are having to do a little preparation on this and will get dates out to everyone soon. Reggie Odima We are grateful to the parishes and all the donors who support the Catholic Church in our sister diocese through this special collection. Bishop Angel Garachana and Padre Carlos Felipe Rodriguez traveled to the Diocese of San Angelo to celebrate our 50th Anniversary with us. They appreciate and encourage the Hermananamiento between our two dioceses.

Nov. 7: CDA Meeting beginning with Rosary at 5:45 and Mass for the Deceased Members at 6:00 pm. Hostesses: Larita Jansa, Doris Halfmann, Eunice Hohensee, Alice Ayers, Noemi Hoelscher, Laverne Hoelscher, Kerri Hoelscher, Dot Hohensee. Program: Sister Kathy from the Newman Center.

Nov. 11: 6:00 pm — Mass to honor the Veterans Nov. 12: Wall Brethren Church Fall Festival — BBQ meal from 5:30-7:30 pm. $8/$5 (under 12). Auction at 7:15 pm.

Nov. 12: 9 am-4pm — Consultation or assistance will be available at Catholic Outreach, 410 N. Chadbourne, for those in need of immigration services. No appointment is necessary.

Nov. 13: Monks from Mt. Carmel Hermitage in Christoval will be here to sell their goods after Masses.

Nov. 13: Festival at St. Joseph’s in Rowena.

THANK YOU’S: St. Ambrose Parish, Family and friends — Words cannot express our gratitude for all the love and support we, the Olen Weishuhn family, were given in the last weeks! We would like to thank Fr. Tom Barley, Fr. Chinna and Deacon Allan Lange for the beautiful Rosary and Funeral Mass. The choir’s contribution with the music was exactly what Olen loved. Our family has received so many wonderful comments on the Mass, the music and the outstanding lunch — it makes you realize how very fortunate we are to be a part of the St. Ambrose Church and Wall community! Olen’s wish was to “sell tickets at the Fall Festival” and greet all his old friends and maybe some new ones! We know he will be there with us! God bless each & every one! ~ The Olen Weishuhn Family It was quite an honor to be chosen “Pioneers of the Faith” from St. Ambrose Parish. The dinner Saturday night and especially the Sunday Mass at the coliseum were truly awesome. Thanks again for choosing us to represent St. Ambrose. This parish is very special.
