Where to give your kids the runaround. Basketball Hong Kong Basketball Academy HKBA is a complete basketball academy offering both girls and boys one-on-one and small-group basketball coaching as well as camps throughout the year. Founded by former Hong Kong National player Jason Yam, the academy is open to beginners and more advanced players alike. Football Asia-Pacific Soccer Schools APSS runs courses for boys and girls of all levels aged five to 13 years old. There are squad programmes for talented players and girls-only sessions while the under-fours can join the Kinder Kicks programme, which offers a fun introduction to the game. Talented players may be selected to train with the squad and play in the Hong Kong Junior Football League and HK Football Association Henderson League. APSS also runs private, footballthemed birthday parties and “World Cup” parties at the venue of your choice as well as football camps during school holidays. Running 26 Coaching Offering some of the best youth triathlon training programmes on Hong Kong Island, 26 Coaching aims to develop techniques and teach children the importance of strength and conditioning as well as performance. The organisation offers running, track athletics and aquathlon training for children from age six.
