Sign-Out Procedures
Should you wish to remove your child from school prior to dismissal, this needs to be done in person. Only those adults listed on the Health & Emergency Information or Student Information forms may pick up students. A picture I.D. is required. Ensuring the safety of your child is a priority at Sagemont. Therefore, parents authorizing their children to leave school grounds during school hours will be required to fax or email a copy of their driver’s license.
Tardy Policy
The school day begins at 8:30 a.m. Students need to adjust their daily schedule so that they are present in their first class by this time. Students who arrive late to school disrupt the learning process. Students who arrive at school past the designated start time must report to the office to receive a tardy pass.
Again, missing a class due to lateness or early dismissal counts as an absence for that class and counts toward the 10 maximum allowable missed days (5 days per semester).
