BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

Early childhood - 5th grade students may celebrate their birthdays with their classmates in their homeroom class during the school day. Please arrange with their homeroom teacher the date and time. Due to the fact that there are many children with severe food allergies, please consult with the teacher prior to bringing in any snacks or food for your child’s small celebration.

Please arrange the time and date with your child’s teacher at least one week in advance. We are very sorry for any inconvenience; however, siblings or any other minors may not attend school birthday celebrations. If you are providing goody bags to the class, you will need approval from teacher beforehand.

Parents who would like for their child to celebrate his/her birthday at school should purchase cupcakes or cookies for each child. The cupcakes or cookies are to be distributed ONLY to the child’s homeroom class, NOT the entire grade level. Please arrange the date with your child’s teacher at least one week in advance. Food is to be brought in at the time of the birthday celebration with the parent. We limit this to only the parents. Please refrain from bringing siblings and extended family members.

BALLOONS OF ALL TYPES ARE NOT PERMITTED. TOYS SMALLER THAN THE SIZE OF A QUARTER ARE NOT PERMITTED INSIDE GOODY BAGS.
