ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL PROCEDURES

Basic Safety Rules:

• DURING CARPOOL TRAVEL LANES ARE DEEMED A “NO CELL PHONE ZONE” TO ENSURE SAFETY OF THE CHILDREN. It is a violation if you are using a cellphone in the carpool lane while school is in session.

• PARKING IS PROHIBITED IN THE CARPOOL LANE.

• Cars should not be stopped or parked at the crosswalk. Please do not block the fire lane.

• Please adhere to the school zone speed limit. Please note speed is to be 15 mph in the area as well as in the carpool lane.

• Please adhere to traffic signs. Please do not make a left turn out of the carpool lane as it is a traffic violation.

• Children will only be loaded and unloaded from the PASSENGER side of the car.

• Parents are to remain in their cars.

• Teachers and staff are not permitted to load or unload anything from the trunks of vehicles.

• It is the driver’s responsibility to make sure that all passengers are properly secured in their seatbelts. Teachers may not buckle up or unbuckle the student.
