Vanderbilt University Law School Housing Clinic hosts 'Ready to Rent' Classes

Safe Haven recently hosted two ‘Ready to Rent’ classes presented by the Vanderbilt University Law School Housing Clinic with Jennifer Prusack, the Director of the Housing Clinic. The tenant readiness courses educated staff and clients on landlord tenant laws, how to be a good tenant, responsibilities of landlords and tenants, the eviction process and the Violence Against Women Act. These classes are a key component to families maintaining success and stabilization in housing. Our clients received a certificate of completion after the course and are now officially ‘Ready To Rent’ certified!
