Mohammad, a father from Somalia, came to Hyderabad with his daughter, who suffers from congenital heart disease "I heard about the advanced medical facilities in Hyderabad and decided to bring my daughter here for treatment," Mohammad said They settled in Toli Chowki, where they could easily access the hospitals and clinics in the area. Ibrahim, a student at Osmania University, came to Hyderabad to pursue higher education and is now studying computer science. "I chose Hyderabad because of its affordable tuition fees. It's a great city to live in," Ibrahim said.

"We may be far away from our homeland, but our culture and traditions keep us connected to our roots," said Khadija, a member of the Somali community in Toli Chowki.
