O.A.T.S. Horse Rescue By Theresa Nolet. (One @A Time Success)

O

n June 1st 2013 Shelly White from Curly Standard Place Ranch in Summerland hosted a birthday party for Rocky Fortune. The foal was abandoned by his mom, on rangeland in Penticton, Shelly rescued him and has been raising him since. Rocky was born on June 1st, 2012 right behind the back yard of a local woman who found this new born foal with no evidence of a mother. When the stallion of the herd tried to kill the new foal the woman intervened and bravely chased the stallion away, although Rocky Rocky as a new born. Courtesy of Shelly did sustain some injuries. Shelly had a great turnout… even some people from Alberta showing up to enjoy the birthday cake and company. Donations were accepted and were turned over to O.A.T.S. Horse Rescue. 2-YEAR-OLD BAY FILLY Tahini, the filly rescued from Oliver this Out of a Daughter of JUDGE CASH spring, is currently being cared for at Curly Standard Ranch and is available for ALSO: Numerous Weanlings, Yearlings and 2-year-olds adoption as she is now up to full weight and healthy.
