A fundraiser event to raise awareness and benefit the Trimurti Temple Devasthanam (TTD) was held on June 8, 2013 at CPCC’s Pease Auditorium. It featured performances of classical Indian dances from students of Smt. Indu Minisandram and Dr. Maha Gingrich. Trimurti Temple Devasthanam’s mission is to build a temple in the traditional Indian architectural style according to the Agama Sasthras. The temple owns 17 acres of land at 6519 Beatties Ford Rd in Charlotte. Construction of the main temple will commence in August 2013 and expected to be completed by January 2015 with the support of the community. For details visit Trimurtitemple.org.
