Started from basic need such as hunger up to seeking extended benefit in colored and germinated rice. Not only change in the type of rice but with the quantity from each purchase as well as quality in each bag of rice. With change come the innovation. Using the extensive level of research. We started to see the pattern that change the life style of our consumer. Because of the busyness from working, traffic jam and responsibility. More people are looking into way to increase their free time. From this come the new idea from the product and new company call “BSCM Foods”. We start to ask question. How can we decease time spending in prepare the food. Especially in cooking rice. Come the “Ready Rice” Using the idea from Japan and Korea. We design the ready rice in cup. This cup can be store in room temperature. In order to cook just open the seal and put in microwave for 60-90 second. The packaging is design to seal in the aroma and texture similar to cooking from the cooking pot itself. We can to this because the packing can with stand high pressure. It allow us to combine the cooking process and sterilize process in the same step. Furthermore the packing have a low air leakage, meaning that very small amount air can exchange from inside to outside product. Result in up to 1.5-2 years of shelf life. The cup design allow customer to select what type of rice they want to eat. A person who want to control weight can select brown rice, the older can select rice berry which have high anti-oxidant so on and so forth. We are provly present the “Ready Rice” and we are looking forward to improve the life style from people around the world.

The Super Siam Thai Noodles Kit series eyes-catching package design is inspired by the everyday life of Thai People featuring illustration by our talented local artist. It aims to promote the unique characteristic of Thai Culture. Within each pleasingly color schemed package are illustrations of locals riding on the Thai style long tail boats, ruea hang yao, in the setting of a floating market famously known by the world. Illustration on each of the packaging are actually snippets of one large overall illustration. In addition to promoting of our own product, it at the same time promotes the talent of Thai illustrators. A hidden feature one will not expect comes from the characters’ faces in the illustration. As a way to express our gratitude for our dedicated employees, the characters in the illustration feature the actual faces of the longest serving members of our factory workers. These devoted workers are integral to the success of our company. The color scheme and the choice of translucency of the packaging is a result of many iterations to find the most striking design that would attract the eyes of passerby. While each color is appropriate for its associated soup flavors (such as brown for Nam Khon, orange for Tom Yum), each package color comes together in harmony to compose one pleasing color pallet, topped with an eye-popping bold gold lettering at the center. One may also notice the water level mark on the side of the packages. These marks are an innovative approach to utilize the package itself as a measuring tool for the preparation of our boat noodles. This is inspired by the problem often faced by young students or people who are not fond of cooking due to the lack of kitchen supplies.

Doi Kham’s packaging was designed to represent simplicity. White color reflects the brand’s identity to operate with fairness and sincerity. The addition of insects represents the biological diversity reflecting the fertility of the agricultural area that is chemical free and environmental friendly. The inclusion of zip lock is for convenience as well as aids in maintaining product quality.

Among most package designs, mainly aimed at its attractiveness, Crispy Crepe Roll by King Power Recipe has been exclusively designed to enhance product positioning at the point of sale. This is the main purpose of the design. To be more precise, t his series of package designs has not only drawn inspiration from three natural colours of Thai fruits, i.e. pink from lychee, yellow from durian, and green from mango, but has also been created perfectly to strengthen product presentation when displayed on shelves. When the products are placed together, the picture of half a fruit on each package will become a whole impressive picture of appetizing Thai fruit. No matter which side of the packaging is facing or which product in the same series is placed adjacent to it, the result will be the product picture continuing endlessly. This innovation is regarded as a significant improvement in Thai packaging design through highlighting the well-known fruits of Thailand using a unique design ploy.

The area of coffee cultivation on Doi Chaang hill (northern Thailand) has been known to be the high quality coffee growing area. The brand “DOI CHAANG” coffee business is to promote the local coffee growers mostly hilltribes people a happy living and secure job. On Doi Chaang hill, there are several groups of hilltribes for example the Akha, the Lisu and the Haw. When “DOI CHAANG” coffee became famous worldwide, many investors (purchasing agent) desire to start business with them which later causing dislikes among each group. Some families joined with the investors and some don’t. To build up unity and pride among these groups of highland dwellers, the new packaging is designed to display each group of hilltribes wearing beautiful traditional clothes in front on the pouch showing a happy smiling face of a coffee grower. The picture of each coffee grower group for each blend is to be changed every year. This new packaging creates pride to the coffee growers’ families. Not only the picture will be collected by them but also will convey love of the brand “DOI CHAANG” to their children. We found that the families who the last time used to join with the investors have all come back to join “DOI CHAANG”. This is a coffee grower community success.

Thus, printing in the long natural fabric product label was originated to convey the stories of the community values.

Sweet tamarind is wildly known among Thai people but in traditional way. We have been consuming fresh tamarind by cracking a shell out and taking a seed off by ourselves, which is not hygienic and not convenient at all. Our goal is to create the new form of sweet tamarind to be outstanding, valuable and easy to eat. We start from carefully select the best kind of sweet tamarind, taking out unneeded things and all the process made in GMP certified factory. Packing in small sachet, one by one piece, in order to keep the freshness, easy to eat, handy to bring around, and lovely to share. For outer packaging, we got an idea from our consumers’ insight. It shows that they love to see the product inside and want to select the products by themselves. Thus, we come out with transparent bag to present our best quality of the product inside, so the customer can see and select pieces by pieces. Moreover, the transparent bag also come with handle hold to bring it everywhere, and special hide zip lock in order to keep it fresh as long as we can. We blend the concept of 100% natural in to the graphic of outer pack. You can see the fresh tamarind tree on the top of the bag, underneath you will find seedless fresh tamarind like they come from the tree. This can reflect the concept of our brand on the packaging. Moreover, on the small sachet, we intend to design many kind of happy face, both men and women. In order to approach various customer, any gender, any age, and dare new customer who has never eaten sweet tamarind to try it together.

Pictures of pineapples on the package of Pineapple Cheese Biscuits is to emphasize that we use real pineapple for the product. The strawberries on the package of the Strawberry Cheese Biscuits also emphasize that we use real strawberries for the said product. We want them to represent our strong intention to give good products to all people. Besides t he packaging is easy and practical to open and close as desired. They are also beautiful and suitable to be given as presents and souvenirs for all occasions.

King Pow Roll’s logo was inspired by a shape of famous Thai crispy coconut wafer roll (Thong Muan) which is part of royal traditional of desserts.

Our Royal Ivory “YAK IN THAILAND� box of Dark Chocolate confectionery with dried Pineapple design was inspired by Thai Sculpture. We wanted to use the Sculpture of the Yak in Thailand as a representation of Thailand as we see YAKS commonly as the guardians of gates in Sacred places and Buddhist temples throughout the country to protect the virtue and defend against the devil. The YAKS are unique sculptures that are large and tall, elegant in figure, and delicately embellished. They are mostly depicted with a characteristic face, having big round bulging eyes and protruding fangs, as well as a green complexion. The art of the YAK sculpture is a great representation of Thai art in the 14th Century during the Ayutthaya and Sukhothai period. The design of our box with the colorful YAK, you can find YAKS throughout the country in different colors, but the most popular that you see on our box is in the one of the most common color of Blue and contrasted with Green boarders. This green tone that is used is intentionally picked from the Color trends by THAI TONE color Plai Green . We embellished the box with Gold hot stamping of traditional Thai patterns to compliment the colorful green used to add luxury and represent that gold seen on all Thai sculpture and architecture as we believe that Thailand is a Golden Land , meaning a land abundant in resources and learnings of Buddhism. The pattern of the box packaging is designed like a book in order to represent us telling a story of YAK in Thailand and also about Thai sculpture. Being Belgian, the concept of Gallothai is to try to utilize the knowledge of Belgian Chocolate making with as much Thai knowledge of ingredients as possible. We want to break away sometimes from traditions and make innovations, and by joining the strengths of Belgian knowledge and Thai ingredients like dried pineapple a merge of Belgian recipe confectionery and Thai traditional fruit and art.
