Lhean is a Manila based visual artist whose works transcend the conventional, depicting instead the beauty of the mythical and extraterrestrial. The flair of her work is contemporary in nature; Lhean has endeavored to develop her own psychedelic style using vibrant and neon colors distinctly outlined with black flowing intricate lines and patterns. She doesn’t limit herself to this perimeter, however, she know no inhibitions which allowed her to continuously explore different combinations of drawing and painting medium that interest her. Ethereal elements which are present in her art form communicates her current thoughts and social expressions, strong feminine visual undertones representative of her strong character as an artist. Also present in her works are visual expressions of the underground Psytrance-music culture, a sub-culture milieu Lhean is both an enthusiast and advocate for within her community. The psychedelic vibes that emanate through her works are visual expressions of the music that drives her, producing art that is unique as the artist herself is.
