KINDER: Ages 2-5

Half Day: 8:30am-noon Full day: 8:30am-4:00pm Kinder Camp is a great way to introduce your child to the summer camp experience. We provide each camper with an opportunity for growth in a warm, supportive environment. Weekly activities include arts and crafts, music, swimming lessons (Rye location only), special guest, sports/recreation and much more! Must be age below by July 1. Rye Y, 21 Locust Avenue, Rye: ages 3-5 Half Day: Ages 3-5; Full Day: Just 3’s; Full Day: Kinder - ages 4-5 Rye Y Nursery School, 122 Fenimore Rd, Mamaroneck: ages 2-5 Half Day: Ages 2-5; Full Day: Just 3’s; Full Day: Kinder - ages 4-5 All campers must be toilet-trained except 2-year olds in the Mamaroneck program. DISCOVERY: Ages 4-11 Location: Osborn School, 10 Osborn Rd, Rye Regular Day: 9:00am-4:00pm Extended Care: 7:30-9:00am & 4:00-6:00pm

Discovery Camp is a full-day camp composed of groups based on grade completed in school. A packed week of sports, STEM, crafts, music, swimming lessons, performing arts, and special guests keep our campers engaged and excited every day. Our age-appropriate programs allow our campers to grow, building upon their progression in each new skill and activity. EXPLORERS: Ages 4 & 5 (by July 1) PIONEERS: Completed Kindergarten SCOUTS: Completed 1st Grade TRAILBLAZERS: Completed 2nd or 3rd Grade PATHFINDERS: Completed 4th or 5th Grade

STEAM: Ages 6-11 Location: Osborn School, 10 Osborn Rd, Rye Regular Day: 9:00am-4:00pm Extended Care: 7:30-9:00am & 4:00-6:00pm

Campers will be challenged to question, explore, plan, discover, analyze, and understand the world through the lenses of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. Experienced staff will use innovative projects, hands on experimentation, group and individual activities, and guided discovery to assist campers in comprehending the natural and technological world. SPORTS: Ages 5-12 Location: Osborn School, 10 Osborn Rd, Rye Regular Day: 9:00am-4:00pm (Full day only) Extended Care: 7:30-9:00am & 4:00-6:00pm Sports Camp is designed for sports enthusiasts who want to develop both their individual and team skills. We use the YMCA Youth Super Sports Model to help campers learn through the “games approach” method. Group 1- entering K, through completed 1st grade Group 2- competed grades 2nd or 3rd Group 3- completed grades 4th or 5th Week 1: Basketball Week 2: Soccer Week 3: Flag Football Week 4: Baseball Week 5: Basketball Week 6: Soccer Week 7: Multi-Sports

GYMNASTICS: Ages 5-14 Location: Rye Y, 21 Locust Avenue, Rye Half Day: 9:00am-1:00pm OR Full day: 9:00am-4:00pm Extended Care at the Rye Y: 8:00-9:00am & 4:00-6:00pm

Beginner to advanced gymnasts are welcome! Drills, games, and teamwork are utilized to build gymnastics skills. Campers will participate in Olympic events, tumble trak, mini trampoline, rope climb, and much more. Head coaches are USA Gymnastics Safety Certified.

ADVENTURE CAMP Grades 6-9 Location: Osborn School & traveling Full Day: 9am-4 pm/6pm Campers will be off-site just about every day enjoying a variety of great summer destinations. Water parks, amusement parks, baseball games, NYC attractions, science centers and more.

Leaders in Training: Youth who have completed grades 6-8 (register online) Counselors in Training: Teens who have completed grades 9 or 10 Application is required for CITs (not for LITs).

Our passionate and dedicated summer staff is selected for their strong character, maturity, enthusiasm and commitment to our Y values and serve as Professional Role Models for our campers. We pride ourselves on our staff retention and look forward to their return year after year.

ACA Accredited

The Rye Y camps in Rye are accredited by the American Camping Association. Every year, our programs must meet over 300 ACA health, safety and program quality standards in order to maintain our accreditation.

Counselor-to-Camper Ratios

At the Rye Y, we feel that the quality of our programs and success of your campers relies on low counselor to camper ratios. As an ACA accredited camp, we follow strict ratio policies based on camper’s ages: (counselor to camper) Ages 3-4 : 1:5 Ages 4-6: 1:6 Ages 7-9: 1:8 Ages 10 & older: 1:10

Safety is our #1 Priority

Our safety protocols follow recommendations from the American Camp Association (ACA), Environmental Health & Engineering, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and The NY Health Dept.

Y Cares (Financial Assistance Program)

Through generous donations we are able to send hundreds of children to camp every summer who may not have afforded our programs otherwise. The Rye Y offers financial assistance for families who qualify. Y Cares Application forms are available at ryeycamp.org under the Resources/Forms tab.
