Educational Journey
His educational path began at Plank Road North Elementary in Webster, NY, where he attended from first through fifth grades. During these years, he actively participated in sports, including football, basketball, and baseball, and developed an early interest in technology. His engagement with Lego robotics during this period sparked his passion for engineering, providing him with a solid foundation in technical problem-solving that would shape his future academic and professional pursuits.
Years of Growth at McQuaid Jesuit
He continued his education at McQuaid Jesuit High School in Rochester, fully embracing the institution's mission of forming "men for others." He led the McQuaid IgKnighters Robotics Team, focusing mainly on designing and building the robot's climbing mechanism. His leadership and engineering skills shone brightly when his team's 125 lbs. robot ascended to a three-foot platform with two others, earning them the "Excellence in Engineering" award.
At McQuaid, he also excelled in utilizing the school's CNC Mill to convert digital designs into physical components made of aluminum and steel. His technical skills were further honed through his involvement in the school's theater productions, where he managed complex stage setups, enhancing his project management abilities.
Service to Community
Throughout his formative years, he was actively involved in community service. He volunteered at the House of Mercy Homeless Shelter, where he helped distribute gifts during the holidays, bringing joy to those less fortunate. He also demonstrated his compassion and leadership through his work with the St. Joseph of Arimathea Pallbearer Ministry, helping those with limited family support.
He also dedicated significant time to Maplewood Nursing Home, where he spent over 170 hours fostering relationships with residents and learning the value of intergenerational connections. range. His role during the 2023 PGA Championship gave him valuable insights into managing major sporting events. Additionally, he worked at Hedges Nine Mile Point Restaurant, where he excelled in customer service in a high-pressure environment.

Since starting his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Penn State in fall 2021, he has been an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Penn State Formula Racing team. During the summer of 2023, he interned at DDS Companies in Rochester, NY, where he utilized AutoCAD to assist in designing and mapping gas main installation projects, enhancing his practical engineering skills and highlighting the importance of precision in engineering tasks.
