INSPECT PCM CONNECTOR FOR POOR CONNECTION 6

Turn the ignition switch off. Disconnect the PCM connector. Inspect for poor connection (such as damaged/pulled-out pins, corrosion). Is there any malfunction?
INSPECT APP SENSOR NO.2 CIRCUIT FOR OPEN CIRCUIT • •

No Go to the next step.
Turn the ignition switch off. Inspect for continuity between the following circuits: ! APP sensor terminal A (wiring harness-side) and PCM terminal 4X (wiring harness-side) ! APP sensor terminal C (wiring harness-side) and PCM terminal 5C (wiring harness-side) Is there continuity?
VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC P2127 COMPLETED
Yes
Repair or replace the terminal, then go to Step 8.
No Go to the next step.
Yes Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the wiring harness for a possible open circuit, then go to the next step.
Replace the PCM, then go to the next step. Yes (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

Make sure to reconnect all disconnected connectors. Clear the DTC from the PCM memory using the WDS or equivalent. Start the engine. Is the same DTC present?
VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE
No Go to the next step.
Go to the applicable DTC inspection. Yes (See DTC TABLE .)
