ADVANCE PREVIEW OUT MARCH 2012 THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

Warner Bros. Release Date: 20 July 2012 The final part of the action-film is back in its dark entirety. Christian Bale puts on the spandex wear for one more crack at escaping the law as Batman, ducking and swinging from buildings to avoid his friend Commissioner Gordon (Gary Oldman). The caped crusader also has to try and take care of the infamous Bane (played by Tom Hardy) and stop him running amuck in Gotham City. Damn. The all important questions though are does Bruce Wayne manage to fight another day and does he actually get a grip of the leather wearing tight-ass Catwoman (Anne Hathaway). [Kanye voice] Nobody wants a little tight-ass. (RH)

REVIEWS: SKYFALL Sony Pictures Releasing Release Date: 26 October 2012

[Insert Bond music here] The third outing for Daniel Craig as Bond will hit our screens towards the latter end of 2012 as the 43 year-old resumes the role that will of course define his career (well it won’t be Cowboys & Aliens). Ever since Craig donned the tux of the Walther PPK shooter in Casino Royale critics have been ready for him to slip-up, but those haters might just have to wait for a while.

ILL MANORS Revolver Entertainment Release Date: 24 February 2012

Conceived, written, part-funded and directed by Ben Drew – who some of you know as Plan B – ILL Manors looks like a very interesting venture by the multitalented multi-tasker. The 26 year-old from Forest Gate has been working with Riz Ahmed, Nathalie Press, Mem Ferda and Danielle Brent to bring alive his “hip hop musical”. Should be a good’n.

THE SITTER 20th Century Fox Release Date: 20 January 2012

Just when we thought one of our favourite actors was due a lead role, the first month of the New Year will see Jonah Hill play idiotic Noah Griffith in the David Green (Pineapple Express) directed The Sitter. As always Hill plays a loveable buffoon who’d rather be smoking and eating potato chips on the sofa than engaging in real life; great recipe for him to play a babysitter then. This looks like #jokes.
