Cromer Community Shed

Got a thing that needs fixing? Something beautiful bodged? A broken treasure in need of some TLC? Help is on hand

The wonderful Cromer Community Shed is officially up and running; open to all, on the second Saturday of every month from 10am to 3pm The workshop is located at the About With Friends premises on Middlebrook Way (at the top, next to Smiths Upholstery) The Shed brings people together in an environment where they can create, chat, and enjoy some company The Shed has launched a Repair Cafe, where you are invited to bring in your damaged and broken items for review If they can be fixed: it will be done - for a modest donation! Enjoy a cuppa, as your family heirloom is restored to match fitness All for a great cause What's not to like!

North Norfolk Backgammon

This year ’s North Norfolk Winter Open was held at Gresham Village Hall on Sunday 26th February 2 rounds of matches to 7 points were played in the morning, and the final round of matches to 9 points after lunch. Cedric Lytton, the organizer, dropped out to leave an even number of contestants so that no-one would have to sit out a bye

Arthur Sinacola (Fakenham) defeated Colin Sherriff (Blakeney) in a very close final, which went to double match point, while Chris Marsh (Briston) won third prize for losing only in the semi-final round, and Ian De’ath (Hickling) collected fourth prize for losing only in the first round
