Restaurant Review: Sadler's Ordinary, Marlborough Ct He was from an island somewhere in the Pacific and when I asked him about his homeland, he made the comment that he really missed living by island time. Not knowing exactly what he meant, I asked what this was, and his answer really awakened me as to how we exist in the high tech world in which we live.

They specialize in dim sum but also have a wide variety of menu options to choose from: Kung Pao Chicken or Shrimp, Broccoli Beef, Won Ton Soups, Noodles, slow cooked duck crispy skin, Fried Rice, and much, much more. The food, unlike many other Chinese restaurants, is not slathered in grease or MSG. Instead, New Garden carefully cooks each dish with the right amount of flavorings to give it that subtle, but detectable taste. Just make up some basic meat sauce, add cooking a whole duck in a slow cooker few slices of avocado, some grated cheese and away you go. If your budget allows, get a cake prepared look like a castle with steps leading up to the top. This is a rather tall order (pun intended). Cream sauces, poached mushrooms and wine are wows. Consider Oysters Rockefeller, and a roast beef carving station. For a touch of the country squire, serve crispy roast duck or Cornish game hens, and plenty of champagne.
