On Saturday 14 May the Canary Wharf Charity Abseil raises funds for The National Autistic Society, the leading UK charity for autistic people and their families, providing information, support and pioneering services. Sign up now to bravely scale down Canary Wharf’s 50 Bank Street as the challenge is open to anyone over 18 years old and no previous abseiling experience is required as training is provided on the day by fully qualified instructors. Back by popular demand, the Action For Kids Beach Volleyball arrives at Canary Wharf this July in Montgomery Square. Experience this fast-paced, fun-filled sport as two pop-up beach volley ball courts take up a three-week residency in Montgomery Square. Enter a team into the Championship Tournament taking place 22 July hosted by sports pundit Rob Walker. Anyone can enter a mixed team of between five and 12 people. You don’t need any previous experience as the rules are simple and training is included. There are other ways of getting involved throughout the three weeks: enjoy pay-to-play sessions where you simply turn up and play, watch showcase matches with some of Europe’s finest Volleyball players or simply hang out at the CNTNR Bar and enjoy the beach side atmosphere.
