fourstroke More than a race bike
If there is just one category the Fourstroke 01 fully belongs to, this is quite simply mountain biking.
The fourstroke FS01 full carbon dropouts are designed for a 12x142 mm through-axle system and are assembled with specific Shimano or Sram direct-mount derailleur hangers depending on the groupset. The brake caliper attachment follows the 160 mm Shimano postmount standard.

The BMC Fourstroke is one of the very few full suspension 29er mountain bikes successfully used on the WorldCup level. This fact alone sets it apart as an outstanding race bike.
