This project is a result for a summer school program, which came in collaboration between Birzeit University- Department of Architectural Engineering, Belgian Development Agency (BTC), the Ministry of Local Government (MoLG), local municipalities and HYDEA.
The summer school seeks to Preserve and Revitalize the historic center of Deir Ghassaneh and broadening the scope of urban regeneration beyond the pure technicality of engineering perspective as attention is paid to social, cultural, economic and environmental issues.
