RUG’SOCIETY INTRODUCES FEVER AT MAISON&OBJECT 2018 The event of the season is approaching us at a large pace! From 19th to 23rd of january, Maison et Objet will take over Paris and Rug’Society will definitely leave its mark there, presenting a bold new collection full of the most diversified inspirations and motifs. FEVER pays attention and tribute to all the history behind art and design, adding a contemporary twist to it through new techniques, materials and textures. Paul Cezanne, Pollock, Picasso and the Mid Century époque are some of the most iconic inspirations to this unique collection, featuring a wide range of rugs that can easily be adapted to any kind of environment.

MIRA In a cubist language, Mira is the representation of Cleopatra, where life emerges in the form of color, taking us on a journey through the comunion of cultures and style. This rug, hand tufted in botanical silk and mohair, deconstructs classic concepts with solid and simple plans, representing the influence of history in contemporary design.

LOLA Pop style and geometry hold hands in Lola, a hand tufted rug full of personality dinamism, in which the design plays with the conjugation of straight lines and the round shape of the rug. Made with New Zealend wool and linen, the bold colors from Pop style contrast with the Mid Century brown and grey, in an interesting conjugation of styles. Lola - 200cm (diam.) | 78,1” (diam.)

WEST Architecture takes the center stage in West, where through the conjugation of shadow and light is created a graphic 3D effect. A hand tufted rug made with botanical Silk, mohair and New Zealand wool in shades of brown, bringing to mind the wood mobiliary from the Mid Century.

REDLEH The dragon is the translation of initiation and evolution through probation. This mythological creature symbolizes immortality and divine power and it’s the center inspiration in Redleh, a digital printed rug in wool and polimide, with golden oriental motifs revolving around two dragons, fighting to win the custody of the greatest treasure - love.

XISTO Metamorphic rocks are easily recognizable for its laminated structure, and it’s precisely this characteristic that serves as inspiration for Xisto, a hand tufted rug in botanical silk, mohair and New Zeland wool. Mixing different patterns in blue, yellow and grey, this unique rug will add dinamism colorfulness to any environment.

SPIRIT Besides the four basic elements, there is a fifth noble element: Ether or Spirit is portrayed in this rug by the tiger and the lion, two predators with an unequaled strength and resistance. Hand tufted in botanical silk, mohair and New Zeland wool, Spirit translates the forces of nature in comunion with the forces of the spirit.
