So it’s quite the surprise that this East Coast country club fantasy comes from a dancer turned designer who grew up without much tradition to speak of. “I love tradition, because I really didn’t grow up with a lot of it. My people were pioneers, independents, adventurers, innovators. Tradition holds an incredible allure for me, despite that my chromosomal chart is that of a maverick.”
