MULTI-DECK INTERNAL MIXER CONTROLS With the multi-deck skins the fundamentals of mixer have not changed. But depending on which skin is used the controls do act differently on the individual decks.

With the 4 deck skin, you will find that each deck has gain, eq, volume and PFL controls. The 6 deck skin has the traditional 2 deck layout. As described earlier about the individual deck‘s [A] and [B] button options, depending on which deck is assigned to the LEFT [A] or RIGHT [B] deck, the individual gain, eq, volume, or PFL controls act upon the assigned individual deck. The crossfader section of the decks are the very important when determining how the individual deck‘s output is controlled. In the 4 and 6 deck skins there are a cluster of numbers that represent the respective decks. Some are highlighted by their individual deck colors or gray in color. When a deck is selected on a specific side of a crossfader, then the output of that deck will only be sent to the master output when the crossfader is to the correct side for that deck. If a deck is not highlighted, as seen with decks 5 and 6 on the 6 deck skin‘s mixer; then when deck 5 or 6 is played it the output of that deck is sent direct to the master output. Please note: when using a multi-output sound card where you can assign each deck to its own dedicated output, the audio crossfader options are ignored. And the individual decks are sent directly to the assigned audio output for that deck.
