DECISION NOTICE 2013 - 7 November 27th, 2013 Re: Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)– Application for Spectrum to Operate Remote Communications Air to Ground (RCAG) Station in Providenciales, and to Regularize Existing Radio Communications Operations within the Turks and Caicos Islands BACKGROUND On September 26, 2013, the Commission received a Spectrum Application from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to operate a Remote Communications Air to Ground (RCAG) Station in Providenciales and to have their existing radio operation regularized. On October 4, 2013, the Commission published TCITC Public Notice 2013-11, calling for comments on the application within 21 days of the publication of the notice in the gazette. No comments were received on the application. COMMISSION DECISION The Commission has reviewed the application at its sitting November14, 2014, and find that the application submitted by FAA is in keeping with the Telecommunications Ordinance 2009, and as there were no comments received on the application, the Commission concludes that the application should be approved forthwith. The Federal Aviation Administration Spectrum License will be issued with the appropriate frequency assignments.
