15. GROUP DISCUSSION ON ETHICS AND BUSINESS After having learnt about the meaning and importance of Business Ethics in the previous two lessons, in this slot a group discussion has been kept.
15.0 Objectives A group discussion will: •
Enable all the participants to contribute in enhancing the understanding of the group, by sharing their views and experiences, on this most important topic.

Not only make the learning process more interesting, it will also make it more enriching.
15.1 Group Discussion A group discussion maybe held on Ethics and Business, using the learning points from the lessons 13 and 14 as a spring board for discussion / experience sharing, on the following two topics: i)
“Following ethical principles is not only important from the moral and social points of view, but is also a sound economic policy”.
ii)
“Experience Sharing”. Each one of you may share with the rest of your classmates two important incidents relating to ethical values, which you have observed in your life and which have left an impression on your mind. One incident could relate to good ethical values, which you have observed, while another could relate to some behaviour pattern or value system, which one should avoid.
Group Activity The main conclusions emerging from the group discussion should be written down and submitted to the Mentor / Facilitator.
