The Mid Thames Audio Visual Group (MTAV) have a couple of events they invite us to join. The first is with Andrew Gagg and the second with Ian Bateman. Anybody interested in hearing them should register an interest with the MTAV Chair Mike Read at mjr19chr@yahoo.co.uk
Friday 6 January – Andrew Gagg
Andrew Gagg frps has a passion for Audio Visual, and also for Graphic Design. Appropriate titling, layouts, fonts and graphics have helped him transmit his messages and enhance his successful sequences with a professional flourish. So on Friday 6thJanuary he’s going to demonstrate to us in his talk, with clips from his own work, why “Type Matters” in this often-neglected area of AV making.
Friday 3 February – Ian Bateman
Ian Bateman makes a return visit to MTAVG on 3rd February to show a selection of AV sequences, and will demonstrate how some of his recent ones were made. He will also look at animation techniques, including some of the new features of PTE AV Studio 11. Additionally, he will demonstrate how to create and save a ‘style’ that will allow you to easily add a copyright slide to your sequences.
