Bancroft Memorial Other military bases may have ceremonial tanks or aircraft at their front gates but rising from a sea of green grass at the Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay is a submarine replica bearing the USS George Bancroft Sail. The exhibit is free, open to the public and makes a great photo!

Woodbine Riverwalk/Bryan-Lang Library Formerly the site of the 1700’s Woodbine plantation, Woodbine is now the county seat of Camden County. Leisurely stroll down the two-mile winding, scenic river walk and see breathtaking views of the pristine Satilla River and all the surrounding nature or get even closer to nature fishing or boating. Woodbine Opry Located just minutes north of Kingsland, grab a plate of delicious home-cooked food and a glass of southern sweet tea… Enjoy dinner and music at the renovated “Old School” Woodbine Community Center. Crooked River State Park A nature trail winds through maritime forest and salt marsh, and hikers may see gopher tortoises, fiddler crabs, herons and other coastal birds. The park's nature center features fish, snakes, turtles and other animals native to this part of Georgia. A boat

St. Marys Aquatic Center Celebrate the summer months at this 7-acre mega-fun water park! Adults can relax in a tube as they float around the park in the endless river, or get fit with a refreshing swim in the lap pool. For kids’ thrills (4 feet & over) there’s a 2-story slide full of exhilarating twists and turns. Colonial Coast Birding Trail View a kaleidoscope of birds along the varied lands and waters that comprise the Colonial Coast Birding Trail. More than 300 species of birds have been sighted at the 18 sites along the birding trail. Trail sites in and around Kingsland include Cumberland Island National Seashore, Crooked River State Park and Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge.

Gilligan’s Island One of Camden County's best kept secrets! This newly constructed 57-acre park is open to the public and features trails through native and pristine Georgia habitat, as well as a cool, spring-fed lake ideal for swimming, canoeing, or kayaking.
