The Jolly Roger Tour Visit Robben Island

The Jolly Roger, the only pirate boat in South Africa, offers the young at heart an authentic adventurefilled experience for the whole family. Join us for lunch at a family-friendly restaurant where the fun will not stop before visiting the 2 Oceans Aquarium. This world-class aquarium is home to more than 8 000 sea creatures of all shapes, sizes and colours – including Nemo (clownfish)!

Depart the hotel after breakfast to catch the ferry to Robben Island. The tour takes 3.5 hours, including the ferry trip to and from the Island. You will disembark at Murray's Bay Harbour, situated on the Island's east coast and take a short walk to buses that will transport you to all the historical sites around the Island. The tour culminates with a viewing of Nelson Mandela's cell. Once back, lunch will be had at the V&A Waterfront, where some free time will be available for shopping. A visit to The Gin Emporium to experience follows before the busses depart back to the hotels at 15h30.
