Pre-K Camp

June 5-9

Ages 4-5 | $45/child

8:00am - 12:00pm

All about the animals. Children are encouraged to come learn about animals through stories and arts and crafts. Tour the zoo and meet our animals. Parents are encouraged to stay during the camp.

Predator/Prey Camp

June 12-16

Ages 6-10 | $85/child

8:00am - 3:00pm

Learn about hunting strategies of various predators and avoidance techniques of prey and what it takes to survive in the wild. Children learn about behaviors and adaptions animals use to be successful in their environments.

Jr. Zookeeper Camp

Bounce House Bash

Tweens and teens learn about the profession of animal care. They will learn husbandry skills, veterinarian practices and how to do basic behavioral training.

Camouflage Camp

July 10-14

Ages 6-10 | $85/child

See what adaptions species have acquired in order to hide from others in the wild. Children learn how deceptive nature can be in order to survive.

Biomes Camp

July 17-21

Ages 11-15 | $85/child

8:00am - 3:00pm

Tweens and teens experience the diversity of habitats that allow animals to thrive in their environments. See how environment shapes their behaviors and physical traits. Learn why it is important to preserve and protect each of these biomes.

Come celebrate the end of the school year and beginning of summer at the zoo’s Bounce House Bash. Participate in activities and games for the day. Enjoy first Saturday with free entry to the zoo for Roswell residents.

The Golrak Experience POPULAR!

Once again our professional colleagues from the Tallean Zoo on the planet Goconis have shipped a young Golrak, Pteropus spatium goconii, on limited loan to Spring River Zoo. Come learn what the zoo has to do to develop a habitat, diet and care for this unique species. Also learn about what challenges this species faces and what we are doing for its survival.
