With over $37 million in unconditional sales in the past 2 months and settled sales of over $72 million for Team Hawkins we are experiencing a definite turn in the market conditions.

With three of our most recent sales selling to the first person we had through the door with a combined value of $13.5 million we are seeing FOMO (fear of missing out), alive and well and established in the market again. If the right property comes to market our client base are jumping at the opportunity knowing if they don’t take it they could be waiting a very long time to find the next one. For those who understand they also know it will never be cheaper than now to make that purchase.

We have an amazing variety of new listings on the market with premium Parnell properties ranging in price from $2 million to over $7 million and prime Remuera and Kohimarama homes from $1.6 million to circa $7 million.

Those waiting until after the election could well miss the boat and end up regretting not taking advantage of these current market conditions.

As I said last month, that from experience, New Zealand buyers are a lot like sheep and when they hear buying has slowed they all slow down and when the word is out that they are buying again, away they all go. This is exactly what we have experienced in July, a sudden upturn in fast decision making and buyers jumping as soon as they see the right offering.

For market advice or a general discussion about your property needs, feel free to call one of our team for advice on what we can do for you and how you can make informed decisions for your future.
