Il riconoscimento verrà attribuito come di consueto, dal pubblico, che avrà votato al termine di ogni proiezione.
Il Premio della Critica “Giovanni Turolla” per l’Edizione 2023 verrà assegnato da una Giuria di professionisti.

Montando le scene dei suoi film Martone vuole mettere in luce Troisi come grande regista del nostro cinema prima ancora che come grande attore comico, e per farlo delinea la sua parabola artistica dagli inizi alla fine, inquadrandolo nella temperie degli anni in cui si è formato e nella città comune ai due registi, Napoli. By editing the scenes of his films, Martone wants to shed light on Troisi, firstly as a brilliant director in the Italian film-making industry and then as a great comedian actor. In order to do this he outlines his artistic career from its beginning to the end, framing him both in the climate of the years in which he was formed and in the city, common to both, Naples.
