REGIONAL FESTIVAL 2015 PORTLAOISE, COUNTY LAOIS
THE people of Laois hold a very special place in the hearts of the Roses and The Chief Executive of Laois their families who have been part of the Rose of Tralee since 2008. From 2016 onwards, all the Roses selected at regional events throughout the world will travel to and enjoy one massive Festival in Tralee in August and experience much more of what Kerry has to offer. More Roses, Rose Escorts, Rose Buds, entertainment, family fun and visitors can only mean that Tralee will enjoy a major boost to the local economy beyond the €12 million that the Festival already delivers.
