The City of Rosemount will be hosting its annual Fall Clean-Up Day on Saturday, October 7 from 8am to 12pm at Erickson. Once again Rosemount will partner with the Michelle Hoagland Group, Keller Williams Preferred Realty to hold a free Paper Shredding Event in the lower City Hall parking lot. See page 4.

Halloween Trail

The annual Halloween Trail is scheduled for Saturday, October 28 from 6pm– 8pm. This event is held at Central Park (across from City Hall). This year’s Halloween celebration will provide a fun-filled evening for preschool through middle-school aged youth. The trail will begin at the lower level of the Shamrock Animal Hospital parking lot (The Warehouse Fitness Center) on Highway 3 (South Robert Trail), wind its way through Central Park, and exit on 145th Street West. We invite all tennis enthusiasts to the Fall “Rosemount Community Tennis Night”! Play Sherlock Holmes while walking the trails at Ritter Farm Park. Collect clues and gather information to solve the mystery. Registration begins 9:45am. Hike begins 10am. This is a FREE event.

CITY CLEAN-UP DAY

Residents are welcome to drop off items that are not normally collected by trash haulers, such as mattresses, appliances, and scrap metal. Free confidential shredding is also provided courtesy of Michelle Hoagland Group, Keller Williams Preferred Realty. Confidential shredding will take place in the lower City Hall parking lot during the same hours. For a list of accepted items and fees, please visit Rosemount’s Citywide Clean-up Events webpage. Please note that this event is for Rosemount residents only, and a driver’s license or other proof of residency will be required to participate.

FIX-IT CLINIC

The Fix-It Clinic is in Rosemount! Fix-It Clinics help reduce unnecessary trash sent to landfills and empower individuals by teaching troubleshooting and repair skills. Bring up to three items that need fixing or mending such as lamps, vacuum cleaners, and clothes. You must be able to carry items into the clinic, so no oversized items. Bring any tools and supplies you think might help with the job; however, volunteers have plenty of tools.

Outdoor Winter Clothing Swap

Bring your gently-used and clean outdoor winter clothing you no longer want and bring home items that are new to you! No item donation is necessary to shop the swap; take or bring as much as you want! Please ensure that any items you bring are in fair condition, clean, and usable. Holiday Light Collection

Rosemount residents can drop their string lights in the containers at the Community Center or the Steeple Center lobby anytime during building hours from November 15, 2023 to January 31, 2024. Holiday lights are also accepted year-round at The Recycling Zone, located at 3365 Dodd Road, Eagan. Please do not drop off cord adapters, plastic rope lights, CFL lights, or battery packs. Garlands, fake trees, statuary, and metal fixtures are not accepted.
