took two minutes before all students got their luggage and drove away with their host families.

Old Rauma - UNESCO world heritage The next day the students and teachers experiences Old Rauma, part of UNESCO world heritage center. Old Rauma is one of few medieval towns in Finland. Old Rauma is composed of some 600 wood buildings, most of them are private homes. Originally Old Rauma was situated at the seashore but due to land raise the coast is now 1,5 km away.

PEER WORK AT IT´S BEST

The students worked in their peer groups where their solved different tasks in Old Rauma.

Sauna In the afternoon we all went to Rauman Lukkos, Rauma hockey clubs clubhouse where we used the sauna, swam in the ice cold water and enjoyed the view from the hot tub, and ate a delicious barbeque. All the swedish students and teacher took on the challenge and had a dip in the sea. Afterwards the finnish students had organized some games. It was a fantastic evening.

OUR STUDENTS MADE NEW FRIENDS FOR LIFE. THE THINGS THEY WILL REMEBER THE MOST IS MOST LIKELY NOT THOSE CAREFULLY PLANNED BY THEIR TEACHER, BUT ALL THOSE MOMENT WHEN PEOPLE GET TO KNOW ONEANOTHER AND ARE HAVING FUN TOGETHER.
