Ann is also owner of the Bastion Kitchen in Athlone which is the number 1 rated cafe in Athlone according to Tripadvisor. The Yew Tree Restaurant will open 7 days a week from 11 am, taking orders right up to 8 pm and will be a bistro-styled restaurant serving excellent tasty dishes, a quality of coffee that they have become noted for in the Bastion Kitchen and their own baked goods (done on site). pionship and the grinder is the first one of its type in Ireland. This they hope when matched with a fully qualified team of baristas will result in the best coffee anywhere in Ireland! They will be using the best of locally supplied fresh goods as well as meats from the likes of Cast-

lemine Farm and Friendly Farmer to create a menu that will tick all the boxes for the traditional diner and the more quirky one. ‘Fresh’ and ‘local’ are two very important words when it comes to Ann’s menu selection and this is something that she is noted for in Bastion Kitchen.

There will be a selection of local goods to purchase such as honey, jams, porridges and teas. They are very excited about opening their new business in Lecarrow and are now taking reservations/bookings on 0906661255. Make sure to call!
